ABOUT ME

WHO I AM:

Hi! I am Nicole, the owner of East End Sports Massage. I have been a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist for 19 years and owned a sports massage clinic in NYC for 10 years. I relocated to the North Fork in 2018 from Astoria and just love living out here! I started practicing out here in 2019 at CrossFit North Tribe and opened my office in Greenport in 2020.

HOW I CAN HELP YOU:

I specialize in Sports and Medical Massage treatments. I especially love working with athletes to help reach their goals and those with chronic pain or injuries because I think it is so important for people to know they CAN live and move pain free.

My approach is definitely not “no pain, no gain” with each session being tailored to each individual and their goals, not simply a generalized deep tissue full body massage.

Some of my areas of specialization include headaches, jaw and facial pain, TMJ disorders, neck pain, runners massage, crossfit athlete massage, back and hip pain, golfers/tennis elbow and more!

I have taken a lot of continuing education courses which provide many ways to approach or enhance sessions to provide a thorough assessment to get a better idea about what is going on. Some of these courses include: FMS (Functional Movement Screen), OS (Original Strength), NKT Level 1 (Neurokinetic Therapy), RockTape FMT Taping, RockTape Mobility Specialist, RockTape Blades (IASTM), RockTape Movement Specialist (Movement Assessment), NASM Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise and UESCA Running Coach Certification.

My own athletic background includes many years of martial arts training: Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, some MMA and BJJ. I love CrossFit (currently with CrossFit North Tribe in Southold) and although I wouldn’t call myself a runner, I did the NYC marathon in 20019 (SO much fun)! I have also started kickboxing again at Webster’s Kickboxing in Cutchogue.

My mission is to educate, encourage and empower you to take control of your health and wellness to reach your goals, whether it be to crush a competition or to simply live and move pain free.
