I am happy to announce I have started accepting insurance. I can accept NYSHIP the Empire Plan, out of network. NYSHIP covers up to 20 visits per year. If you are looking to try Sports or Medical Massage and want to see if it could possibly be covered by insurance, follow the steps below:
*Contact me with your insurance info to verify
*Get a prescription from your doctor for Massage Therapy. Your prescription must include a diagnosis code and be written for a specific treatment plan. For example, 1-3 sessions per week for 12 weeks.
*Once the insurance verification is complete and the prescription is obtained, you can book an appointment online or by text, phone call or email.
INSURANCE FAQ
*I work out of network with NYSHIP
*The script MUST be obtained prior to the first visit and must be written out properly in order to be accepted.
*If the deductible has not yet been met, there will be a copay.
*Because I work out of network, payment will be sent to the client and then will need to be remitted to me when received.
*If you have another insurance carrier, you can call them to find out if they cover massage therapy services when provided by a Massage Therapist. If they do, I am able to provide a receipt for submission.
